Upon scheduling your first transfer, the "Create New Security PIN" screen appears. This is here for security purposes and only you should know what that PIN is when scheduling transfers. Follow these steps:

  1. Enter your SSN for identity verification
  2. Create a PIN-must be 4 characters with at least one letter and one number.
  3. Create security questions and answers in case you forget your PIN.

For every new transfer, the Security PIN screen will appear. The correct PIN must be entered to initiate the transfer.

Forgetting the PIN?

  1. Click the "Forgot your security PIN" link to reset your PIN
  2. Answer the two security questions correctly

Troubleshooting Tips:

  • While the PIN never expires, the member can change their PIN (via the Settings Menu) Great NorthWest can reset your PIN as well.
  • You have two tries to enter the correct PIN. After that, the PIN is locked and must be unlocked by Great Northwest.
